She has vast amounts of experience in various health sectors as she pursues this noble profession. As a nurse, she has served in different health facilities and organization as a Clinical Nurse, Assistance Director of a unit and Clinical Case Manager. As a FNP, she has served in an acute care setting, sub-acute care facilities, outpatient primary care clinic, and government agency in the metropolitan area. Olayinka Akinnuoye FNP is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She began her career at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Zaria, Kaduna State in Nigeria in 1989 and completed her degree at Howard University. Her main objective is to provide affordable health care to diverse populations regardless of: color, gender, race, identity, social economic status, sexual orientation or preference. Her main focus is prevention through patient education, treatment and management of chronic health conditions. She is licensed in the District of Columbia as an APRN and in Maryland
